Vivid Reason is an AI research company building models with character. We are developing Vivi: a model intended to think clearly, act with initiative, relate to people with emotional intelligence, and carry work through to completion.
What we care about

Our approach is character-first general intelligence: rigorous reasoning joined with presence, taste, curiosity, and a coherent point of view.
Research status
The Vivi training recipe is an experimental pilot program covering character formation, reasoning, compression, tool use, and long-horizon agency. Its methods and claims remain unvalidated until the required ablations and held-out evaluations are complete.
We do not claim to have created consciousness or human-level emotions. We aim to make clear, testable claims about model behavior.
